All The Spurs Loop Run 02-11-2014

A cool damp morning greeted us for the run around the Reefton and Black Spurs but the weather did not dampen the spirits of the group members, all keen to get a few Km's under their belts. We set off (tops down) from Healesville for our first stop in Warburton, then on to the always fun Reefton Spur with its reputed 156 bends in 18 kilometres.

Our group is steadily growing and we were pleased to welcome Michael and Viv's BMW Z3 as well as a couple of new MX-5's. It is wonderful to see so many people embracing the concept of this group which we hope to see going from strength to strength in 2015. There are several other models of car set to join us and a full and exciting program of runs for the year to come.

The Reefton Spur behind us we headed through Marysville and up to Steavenson's Falls. The regeneration in this area is amazing as it had been devastated by the fires that ripped through there in 2009. Having had our bit of exersize it was back down into Marysville and time to put the feed bag on and the obligatory natter. The day nearly over we made the 30 minute run down the Black Spur and back to Healesville where we all went our separate ways.
