09.11.1907 - The Currle liner Euryalus, Inward bound from Calcutta, sank the Warung, one of Mr. James Wallace's fleet of tugs, which was In attendance assisting In berthing the big vessel. The warung, while manoeuvring to get a hawser aboard from the Euryalus, by some means or other got across tho bows of the former vessel, and was rolled over, sinking in deep water midway between the White Star wharf and tho Australian Gaslight Company's wharf, all hands were saved. |

14.01.1908 - Marine enquiry regarding the collision between Euryalus and Warung found : That no blame was attributable to anyone on the Euryalus, and that allthough it might be said the master of the Warung might have acted with more caution, there was nothing before the court to justify it in dealing with his certificate. |
